Amaretto Mintz
Dark cherry, cool mint, an after-dinner pour.
Imagine the dessert cart at an old supper club: a cordial glass of amaretto, a bowl of dark cherries, a plate of chocolate mints. Amaretto Mintz is that last course in flower form, and the newest indica in our Diamond Collection.
Tasting notes
Nose, palate, finish
- Nose
- Tart cherry rises first, sweet with a sour edge, followed by cool mint and a grounding layer of earth. A creamy, faintly gassy depth keeps the cherry from reading as candy.
- Palate
- Strawberry and berry, with tart cherry riding alongside.
- Finish
- Cool and minty, with a creamy finish that lingers like an after-dinner mint.
- In the hand
- Amaretto Mintz is known for dark, plum-purple buds wrapped in icy trichomes, flecked with bright green and deep orange pistils. Firm, resinous indica structure.
- The moment
- The nightcap jar.
Provenance
Cherry Punch × Animal Mintz
A collaboration between Seed Cartel and Jay Beezo, crossing Cherry Punch with Animal Mintz. Cherry Punch supplies the tart red fruit; Animal Mintz supplies cool mint, cookie and earth. Together they read like a dessert liqueur. Grown in Humboldt County, California.
The grower has not published a terpene breakdown for this lot; this cultivar typically leads with Limonene (bright citrus peel); Caryophyllene (black pepper, warm spice); Myrcene (earthy, musky, ripe fruit).
