The Volcano Hybrid is Storz & Bickel’s flagship desktop dry herb vaporizer — the machine most other desktop units are measured against. It is built and manufactured in Germany, and it gives you both of the classic Volcano delivery methods in one device: fill a detachable balloon and pass it around, or attach the tube and draw directly from the unit.

This is a stationary, session-oriented device for people who vaporize at home and want consistency rather than portability. If you host, if you share, or if you have simply decided you want the last desktop vaporizer you’ll need to buy, this is that purchase. It is not a pocket device and it does not pretend to be.

App connectivity

The Volcano Hybrid is S&B App compatible over Bluetooth. Note the limitation before you buy: the app is not supported on iOS and Apple devices. Non-Apple users can reach it through the Storz & Bickel website on a mobile device or desktop.

Before you order

Confirm you have roughly an 8-inch square of counter space, and decide whether you’ll primarily use balloons or the tube — both work out of the box, but it shapes how you’ll set the unit up.
