Spoon Pipe Model D is Human Grade’s standard spoon, offered both in plain worked colours and in frit finishes – crushed coloured glass rolled into the hot body so the surface carries a speckled, granular texture you can see and feel.

Why it stands out

Frit work costs more to produce than solid colour because the glass is rolled and re-melted by hand, and it gives each pipe a slightly different distribution of speckle. Blue, orange, red and white frits all sit over the same reliable spoon body.
