This is the outlier in a shop full of gram scales: an 80 kilogram hanging scale that reads in hundredths of a kilo. You hook it to a bag, a case or a box, lift, and read the weight off the display. It exists for the jobs a bench scale cannot do – checking a shipping carton before it goes out, weighing luggage, or anything too heavy or too awkward to sit on a platform.

Nothing about it pretends to be precise at small weights, and that honesty is the point. For heavy loads a hanging scale is faster and more accurate than trying to balance a box on a bench platform.

This will not weigh anything small. Ten-gram increments make it useless below about half a kilo – it is a shipping and luggage tool.
