Pluto Candy descends from Pluto, and the grower has not published the second parent, so we will not guess at it. What the plant shows is a candy-fruit top end (grape, tropical fruit, strawberry-cherry soda) over a diesel, pine and vanilla-cream base. It also carries the most CBGa of anything on the shelf: 1.51% on its lab report.

How it smells

Lift the lid and you get sweet grape and mixed berries first, then a tropical-fruit lift and something like strawberry-cherry soda. Underneath, a mellow diesel and pine settle in, rounded off by an earthy vanilla-cream note. It reads sweet first and gas second, so it is softer on the nose than Rock Candy.

How it tastes

Grape candy and berry soda on the inhale, with a tropical, fizzy-fruit sweetness. The exhale lands in diesel and pine, finishing on a smooth, earthy vanilla cream.

How it looks & feels

Long, tapered spear-shaped buds that stack like little rocket ships, in deep olive green shading into bronze and plum in the crevices. A dense veil of fine orange-amber pistils wraps every bud like spun copper wire, and the surface glistens with a layer of frost. The buds are firm and well-formed, with a slightly tacky, resinous surface that clings when broken apart.
