Tell me your budget, anywhere from $10 to $1,000, and I’ll hand-build a kit around you. Every box starts with a rolling tray I pick out for you based on your needs and your personality. Then I fill it with really nice accessories that go together and match the hero device you want.

What could be in your box

Every box is a surprise, but here’s a look at the kind of gear I’ve been sourcing for the next few months:

• Quartz bangers, like Softglass, in 45° or 90°
• Carb caps in different styles and colors
• Glass ash catchers, bowls and hand pipes
• Silicone cleaning plugs. If you’ve never used them, this is your introduction.
• Roach clips that keep the smell off your hands. If you don’t have one, there’s a good chance one is coming.
• Grinders
• Hand mirrors, from cute heart-shaped compacts to plain black stand mirrors

Many items come in more than one color. The color you get is part of the surprise unless you tell me otherwise.

How to find your joint size

Bowls, bangers and ash catchers only fit if they match your piece’s joint, the spot where the bowl or banger connects. There are three standard sizes:

• 10mm: small, mostly on mini rigs
• 14mm: the most common size, and what I carry most unless you ask otherwise
• 18mm: large, mostly on big bongs (sometimes called 19mm)

Male or female? If your piece has an opening the bowl or banger slides into, it’s female (most bongs and rigs). If a glass tube sticks out and the bowl or banger slides over it, it’s male.

45° or 90°? Look at the joint from the side. If it points straight up, you need 90°. If it’s tilted, you need 45°.

Measure it yourself

Measure straight across the joint opening (female) or across the outside of the tube (male):

• About 10mm across = 10mm
• About 14 to 15mm across = 14mm
• About 18 to 19mm across = 18mm

A ruler with millimeters works best. A US dime is about 18mm across, so if the opening is roughly dime-sized, it’s 18mm. If it’s noticeably smaller than a dime, it’s most likely 14mm.

Use your phone

• iPhone: open the built-in Measure app, point it at the joint, and drag a line across the opening.
• Android: use your phone’s measuring app (Samsung Galaxy phones have Quick Measure) or any free AR ruler app from the Google Play Store.

Phone measuring apps are made for bigger objects, so treat the number as a close guess. For a better answer, set a coin or ruler next to the joint and take a screenshot or photo.

Let AI do it for free

Take a clear photo of your piece, with the joint in view and a coin or ruler next to it if you can. Upload it to a free AI app like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and ask:

“What size joint does my piece take (10mm, 14mm or 18mm)? Is it male or female, and is it 45° or 90°?”

Still not sure? Order anyway, pick “Not sure,” and email a photo of your piece to support@pixies-pantry.com with your order number. I’ll figure it out before your box ships.
