When purchasing Human Grade Downstems, please include the Glass Joint in your measurement as well.  The measuring standard varies from brand to brand, and website to website, but Human Grade Downstem measurements include the Frosted Joint in the size.  For example, a 5.5″ Human Grade downstem will be 5.5″ long in total.  All Human Grade downstem measurements include the frosted joint which is approximately 1″ in length.
