What each part contributes to the cleanse

Salt Wash loosens sticky resin and surface film. Salt Crystals provide mechanical movement against compatible interior glass. The Bong Wash Baggie surrounds the main piece, while the Pipe Wash Baggie separates smaller removable components so they can soak and move without being lost in the larger chamber. The full Classic Glass Bath ritual

1. Prepare the spa: move away from flame or heat, put on the gloves and remove the bowl, downstem, banger or other detachable parts.
2. Contain the old water: pour used bong water into the Dirty Water Bag. Do not feed it to plants or leave it in a sink or toilet.
3. Load the main bath: place the main piece in the Bong Wash Baggie. Glass Bath recommends adding Salt Wash and Salt Crystals gradually—about one-third at a time—so the liquid and abrasive can be controlled.
4. Give the removable parts their own bath: place bowls, bangers, downstems or a compatible hand pipe in the smaller Pipe Wash Baggie.
5. Seal and shake carefully: make sure the bags are closed, support the glass, and agitate rather than striking the piece against a hard surface.
6. Detail clean: use the sponge wand and scrub swabs for residue that remains around accessible walls, openings and joints.
7. Empty into the Dirty Water Bag: pinch the cleaning bag as needed to control the salt while pouring the dirty solution into the disposal bag.
8. Rinse and reset: rinse the glass or silicone thoroughly with clean water, dry completely, reassemble and refill only with fresh water.
9. Seal and toss: close the Dirty Water Bag securely and dispose of it according to local household-waste rules.

The Dirty Water Bag is part of the cleaning system—not extra packaging

A Glass Bath is designed to contain the entire messy side of bong care. Before you wash the piece, empty the old bong water into the included Dirty Water Bag. After the wash, the same bag can receive the loosened resin, ash, salt and used cleaning liquid. Seal it securely and dispose of it as directed, following local household-waste rules and keeping it away from heat or open flame.

This matters because used bong water is not ordinary water and it is not fertilizer. As smoke passes through the chamber, the water can collect ash, burnt plant particles, sticky smoke condensate, fine particulate matter, dissolved organic residue and saliva. Water that sits can also support bacterial or fungal contamination. If tobacco was used, the water may additionally contain nicotine and tobacco-combustion residue. Once a cleaning solution is added, the wastewater can also contain 70% isopropyl alcohol, salt and concentrated loosened resin.

Do not pour bong water or spent bong-cleaning liquid onto houseplants, herbs, garden beds, lawns, compost, pet bowls or storm drains. Plants need clean irrigation water—not smoke wastewater. The Dirty Water Bag gives that contaminated liquid a contained destination so it does not end up in your plant soil, splash around the bathroom, or leave a resin smell in a sink or toilet.

Fresh water goes in your bong. Clean water goes on your plants. Dirty bong water goes in the bag.

Mari’s goal: make clean glass a realistic routine

Cleaner safety and storage

The Salt Wash contains 70% isopropyl alcohol and salt. It is flammable. Keep the kit and all used cleaning liquid away from heat, sparks and open flame.
