Why Prism caps change the large-piece cleaning process

A tall bong can be awkward to place inside a bag and harder to control once it contains cleaner and abrasive salt. Prism caps let you seal the piece directly. The complete XL + Prism cleanse

1. Drain first: put on the gloves, remove detachable pieces and pour the old bong water into the Dirty Water Bag.
2. Choose the Prism caps: select the sizes that cover the relevant openings. Glass Bath states that the set contains three sizes and that colors are random.
3. Secure the glass before capping: support the piece on a stable surface. Glass Bath specifically warns to secure the glass before sealing so it does not slip or break.
4. Add the XL wash: introduce the 5 oz Salt Wash and Salt Crystals gradually instead of dumping everything uncontrollably into one area.
5. Seal tightly: fit the Prism caps firmly over the openings and check every seal before lifting or agitating the piece.
6. Agitate with control: hold the glass securely with both hands and move the wash through the chamber. Do not allow the piece to strike a sink, counter or another hard object.
7. Wash removable parts separately: use the Pipe Wash Baggie for bowls, bangers, downstems and other compatible parts.
8. Detail, drain and rinse: use the wand and swabs where reachable, then empty spent liquid into the Dirty Water Bag and rinse the piece thoroughly.
9. Keep the caps: wash and dry all three silicone Prism caps completely and store them in a cool, neutral place for future Glass Baths.
10. Seal and dispose: secure the Dirty Water Bag and discard it according to local rules, away from heat or flame.

The Dirty Water Bag is part of the cleaning system—not extra packaging

A Glass Bath is designed to contain the entire messy side of bong care. Before you wash the piece, empty the old bong water into the included Dirty Water Bag. After the wash, the same bag can receive the loosened resin, ash, salt and used cleaning liquid. Seal it securely and dispose of it as directed, following local household-waste rules and keeping it away from heat or open flame.

This matters because used bong water is not ordinary water and it is not fertilizer. As smoke passes through the chamber, the water can collect ash, burnt plant particles, sticky smoke condensate, fine particulate matter, dissolved organic residue and saliva. Water that sits can also support bacterial or fungal contamination. If tobacco was used, the water may additionally contain nicotine and tobacco-combustion residue. Once a cleaning solution is added, the wastewater can also contain 70% isopropyl alcohol, salt and concentrated loosened resin.

Do not pour bong water or spent bong-cleaning liquid onto houseplants, herbs, garden beds, lawns, compost, pet bowls or storm drains. Plants need clean irrigation water—not smoke wastewater. Cleaner safety and storage

The Salt Wash contains 70% isopropyl alcohol and salt. It is flammable. Keep the kit and all used cleaning liquid away from heat, sparks and open flame. Use the included gloves, avoid eye contact and prolonged skin exposure, do not ingest the solution, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Work in a ventilated area.

After cleaning, rinse compatible glass or silicone thoroughly with clean water and allow every component to dry completely before reassembly. Keep unused Salt Wash tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. Do not mix it with bleach, ammonia or other household chemicals.

Why is there still a Dirty Water Bag if the bong is sealed with caps?

Can I pour that water onto plants?

No. It is smoke wastewater, and after the cleanse it may also contain isopropyl alcohol and concentrated salt. Seal it in the provided bag instead.
