Description

Boveda packs are two-way humidity regulators: a salt-and-water solution inside a permeable membrane that both releases moisture into dry air and absorbs it back out of damp air until the container settles at the printed percentage. That is the difference between them and a plain desiccant, which can only dry things out. Each option here is a bag of ten individual packs, so you can put one in every jar you own instead of shuffling a single pack around.

Why it stands out

Because the pack targets one fixed humidity in both directions, there is nothing to season, refill or monitor – you drop it in and it holds the number on the label until the pack goes stiff and needs replacing.

Compatibility

Use in airtight glass jars, CVault-style stainless containers, cases and travel tins. Do not add water to a Boveda pack or place it in direct contact with a heat source.

Care

Replace a pack once it hardens or feels dry through the wrapper. Storing spare packs in their sealed bag keeps them from working on room air.

Good to know

58% and 62% are the two standard targets; pick one and stay with it, because mixing both in a single container just averages them out.
