Description
An adapter is what lets a banger, bowl or dropdown you already own fit a joint it was never made for – a 14mm nail into a 10mm rig, a 10mm banger into a 14mm tube, or a 90-degree joint reoriented to 45 degrees so the piece sits at a comfortable angle. Every option here is borosilicate glass with ground joints on both ends, and the option name reads exactly the way glass fitment is written: the male end first, then the female end it accepts.
Why it stands out
Reading fitment wrong is the single most common reason glass gets returned, so these are named without abbreviation. The joints are properly ground rather than moulded, which means they seat with a slight twist and hold without a keck clip in normal use.

What’s included
One glass adapter in the exact fitment you select. Keck clips and accessories are not included.
Compatibility
Measure the joint you are adapting from before ordering. The male figure is the end that goes into your piece; the female figure is the end your banger or bowl drops into. Angle matters as much as diameter – a 45 degree adapter will tilt your banger forward.
Care
Twist gently when seating and removing; do not lever the adapter sideways. Soak in isopropyl alcohol to clean and let it return to room temperature before heating anything attached to it.
Good to know
An adapter adds height and changes the balance of your rig. On a small rig, a 45 degree adapter with a heavy banger can make the piece front-heavy – a beaker or wider base handles it better.
