Bearded’s Classic Dugout is machined from solid hardwood in six species – African Mahogany, Cedar, Cherry, Curly Maple, Padauk and Walnut – each with its own grain and natural colour, from the deep orange-red of padauk to the rippled figure of curly maple.

Why it stands out

This is a woodworker’s dugout, not a moulded one. The species choice is the point: the wood is left to show its own colour rather than stained to match, so a padauk body and a curly maple body look like different objects.
