Description

These are the 2 inch plates for the smaller Flower Mill body – the pocket-sized mill rather than the countertop one. The principle is the same: material is milled across a perforated plate instead of being torn by teeth, so it stays airy and the trichomes take less of a beating. Changing the plate changes the grind, from #1 Extra Fine up to #5 Extra Coarse, with a stainless steel option for a harder surface.

Why it stands out

A spare plate is far cheaper than a second mill, and swapping one takes seconds. The 2 inch plates are the ones most often lost or bent, since the smaller mill is the one that travels.

Compatibility

Fits the 2 inch Flower Mill only. The 2.5 inch mill takes the larger plate, sold on its own listing – the two sizes do not swap.

Care

Clear the perforations with a dry brush after use and let the plate dry fully before it goes back in.

Good to know

Lower number equals finer grind. The stainless plate is a durability upgrade, not a different texture.
