THCa Badder — Small-Batch Concentrate

This is a hemp-derived THCa concentrate pressed and cured in a single small batch. It comes off the parchment as a warm amber slab that breaks into soft, waxy pieces the moment a dab tool touches it — the texture people mean when they say badder or crumble. It is not a mass-produced, homogenized product. There are exactly 25 grams of it in existence, and when it is gone it is gone.

What it is, honestly

Badder sits between shatter and cured resin. Shatter is stable and glassy because it is left undisturbed as it purges. Badder is agitated during the purge, which whips air into the oil and breaks the crystal lattice — that is what makes it opaque, soft and easy to scoop instead of brittle. The upside is handling: no shattering into a hundred pieces you then lose in the bottom of a container. The trade-off is that it wants to be kept cool.

How to dab it properly

Low and slow. Heat your banger, let it cool for 30 to 45 seconds until it is in the 500–600 °F range, then drop in a piece about the size of a grain of rice and cap it. Going in hot at 800 °F+ scorches the terpenes and gives you the harsh, burnt-popcorn taste people wrongly blame on the concentrate. Cold start works beautifully here too: load the rice grain into a cold banger, cap it, then heat gently from below until it begins to bubble and pull.

Start with one rice-grain dab and wait ten minutes. Concentrate is dramatically stronger by weight than flower. Whatever you think your dose is, halve it the first time.

Storage

Cool, dark, airtight. A fridge is ideal for anything you are not using this week — keep it in a sealed silicone or glass container so it does not pick up moisture or fridge smells, and let it come back to room temperature before you open it so condensation does not form on the oil. Kept properly it holds its texture and terpene profile for months. Left on a sunny windowsill it will slump into sap within days.
