Description
Bee Line was the first company to sell beeswax-coated hemp twine as a lighter substitute, and this is its bulk format: a wound ball holding 200 feet of wick rather than the little card spools that run out in a month. You light the end of the wick from a flame, then use the wick itself to light your bowl, so no butane goes near what you are actually tasting. Choose OG for the standard diameter or Thick if you want a broader flame that stays lit in moving air.
Why it stands out
The twine is certified organic hemp and the coating is organic beeswax, which is why the flame smells like a candle instead of lighter fluid. The Thick version is thirteen strands rolled together, so it burns longer per light and throws a noticeably larger flame than a standard wick.

What’s included
One 200-foot ball of Bee Line hemp wick in the thickness you select.
Compatibility
Use with any pipe, bong or bowl, and equally good for candles and campfires. Wrap a working length around a lighter body so it is always to hand.
Care
Store away from direct heat so the beeswax does not soften and stick the coil together. In cold weather the wick stiffens; warm it in your hand before unwinding.
Good to know
This is the ball format, not the small hanging spool. 200 feet lasts most people the better part of a year.
